Creating a VPS

To create your first Cloud Server (VPS), you will have to follow these steps:

On a Dashboard under “Cloud Servers” section, choose and click on Create new Cloud Server:

The same actions can be done from “Quick Links” section using “Create new Cloud Server” button:

In “Select cluster and template” section select your preferred Cloud, Zone, OS and OS template:

Under “Assign Nodes” section using the bar, select the number and type of nodes that your VPS server will consist of (In this example, these are two nodes):


Set your server’s Label”, Hostname” and “Tag” in “Cloud Server details” section:

Label – is a name for your own identification purposes, such as “My Webserver“, or “MAIL 1
Hostname – is the internet name of your VPS, such as “name.mydomain.com

 

In “Backup Manager” section you also have the option of enabling backups:
You should not worry as you can enable/disable this option later on as well.

 In “License Manager” section you can enable additional services and Licenses for them:

 

Now you can click “Create” button to start creating VPS process. Once the VPS server is successfully created, it’ll need some time to run certain scripts in order to install the OS template and setup all the settings required.

Once the status lamp turns on, then your server is fully set up and ready to rock-n-roll.
